New possibilities in metal 3D printing – an investment in advanced EOS technology
New Era Materials and Fibometry are consistently expanding their expertise in the field of additive technologies. In addition to our existing activities in 3D printing with polymer materials, we have launched a state-of-the-art, industrial 3D metal printing system using direct metal laser sintering (DMLS) technology. This is a groundbreaking step towards providing comprehensive services for industrial clients – from concept to finished component.
Advanced additive manufacturing technology
The newly commissioned system, supplied by EOS GmbH, is one of the most advanced solutions currently available on the market. Equipped with four lasers and a build chamber measuring 400 x 400 x 400 mm, it enables the efficient production of complex, high-precision components. This is currently one of the most advanced installations of its kind in Poland!
A wide range of materials and applications
DMLS technology enables the production of parts from demanding engineering materials, such as:
– Inconel (nickel alloys)
– aluminium alloys
– steels
– titanium (Ti6Al4V)
– and other technical materials, selected to meet project requirements
These materials are used wherever high strength, temperature resistance and durability are crucial – including in the aerospace, energy and automotive industries.
Comprehensive process support
At New Era Materials and Fibometry, we provide full support at every stage of implementation:
– design analysis and optimisation for AM technologies,
– preparation of models and production processes,
– 3D metal printing,
– post-processing (CNC, heat treatment, surface finishing),
– quality control.
As a result, our clients receive ready-to-use, functional components that meet industrial requirements.
Efficiency and advantages of AM technology
Additive manufacturing significantly simplifies the production process. In many cases, it is possible to:
– reduce the number of components,
– improve the functional properties of parts,
– eliminate tooling costs (e.g. moulds or dies),
– shorten product launch times.
The process is carried out using a direct manufacturing model:
3D CAD model → 3D printing → finished part
A new stage of development
Investing in an advanced metal 3D printing system is the next step in building the expertise of New Era Materials and Fibometry as a technology partner for industry. We are expanding our capabilities to support our customers even more effectively in the implementation of innovative projects – from prototyping to series production.
